I ordered a set of 2.5 procomps from 4 wheel parts. After waiting a almost 2 weeks the springs came in. A friend picked them up. Upon arrival I noticed a tag on the springs and it said 4 inch 78 to 88 toyota. So I checked the paper work and noticed the paper work had gm part#11211 front leaf springs 2.5 inch lift. I looked into 4wheel part reviews and see that they get some flack about poor customer service and slow arrival of wrong parts. After calling them they claim that they will work and that the springs are for multiple applications. Of coarse Pro comp says no they won't fit. Have any of you ran in to this with 4 wheel parts.

plain and simple there NOT what you ordered . tell them make it right or you will file a payment dispute with your credit card company .

and also stay far away from balistic fab there 10x worse .

My wife's Colorado had a lift installed at the local 4 wheel parts by the dealer before we bought it. Didn't realize who they had do the work but within a week of driving it we found loose bolts all over the place, calipers, sway bar, etc. Needless to say I'm not a fan of 4 wheel parts.

Look at the springs to see if there is a part number painted or stamped into the springs. I do not think it is possible for those springs to fit a 1988 Toyota because they had independent front suspension by that time, and not leaf springs.

Well I went back to 4 wheel parts and they had gave me the wrong springs. I was talking with the manger about one of his guys telling me the wrong ones would work. He pointed behind me and there he was. Looking up at the ceiling like he was pretending not to here the whole thing unfold. He tried to back pedal but it was no use. The manager just snickered and helped me load my springs.

I deal with liars for a living. On of my old supervisors would accuse me of playing with my food when interviewing people.

I have had the similar experiences with 4-Wheel parts. I have had parts counter people at 4-wheel parts lay some BS on me because they where to proud to admit they did not know what they where talking about. At 4-Wheel parts if it is not a 2015 or newer Jeep they do not even want you in their building.

WOW! I'm glad I viewed this thread as I WAS thinking on placing a rather large order with them this spring. NOT NOW!

ETA: "Them" is 4 Wheel Parts, not Pro Comp.

Well, if you buy from 4wp or procomp, you're still buying from transamerican auto parts.
Which is headed by Craig Scanlon of Polaris.
No matter where you're buying from, one dude is getting rich af.

So, are Superlift (Softride springs) a safe company to buy from (I do realize others sell their product) or are they part of transamerican auto parts also?

I don't know how you guys glean so much information from the internet. I can barely turn my computer on, much less find so much in depth information.

(Tech Dummy here.)

Sent from my Rotary Dial Telephone.
