Does anyone have any experience with their beadlocks? Specifically the Pro Comp 75 Series Trilogy Race 17x9 models

I've been looking at all sorts of 17" beadlocks, everything from Trailready, hutchinson, Raceline, Method, and KMC but cant find any reviews on the Pro Comps.

Thanks

I like mine and Merrick's garage just put a set on his rig. He had a tougher time mounting his tires but we decided it was a tire sidewall thing. Mine went on like cake. I got the unfinished aluminum so scratches dont show nearly as bad. you'll have to mount the tires yourself. 4 wheel parts wont do it.

and good luck get any Hutchinsons... I got my pro comps in sept right before blazer bash. I had several different places looking for Hutchinsons for me and was told no chance before Jan of 2020.. 8 lug 17s are worth their weight in gold...

The non DOT approval on the pro comps is the reason why 4 wheel parts wont mount them..even on a off road only vehicle

I also debated getting the hutchinsons but they are so focused on military. And like that was said before they are so well made I have no hesitation running them on the road. The nord lock washers also make it pretty much impossible they are gonna vibrate loose.

They were intended to be dot wheels but the hurdles to approve them were even too large to jump for a giant corporation. So last minute we had to change a bunch of stuff and engrave "not for road use" on all the wheels. I had preordered a set about a year before release when I worked for transamerican.

That's the problem with a lot of products.
The feds and states require such high cost for certifications that most companies don't do it as long as they can still sell their products

be careful with the nord lock washers also..they like to stick to each other (beyond the two sides together). I dropped one of mine and lost it

I had the Pro Comp fake beadlocks and they did pretty good, took them to Baja maybe 20 times

Bumping this up, any photos showing track width? Looking for them to stick out some and provide a level of body protection?
