hi there out there in hub locking land, has anybody used the "procomp" stainless steel braided brake lines. i'm in need for some longer brake lines and it seems they're the only manufactures out there.

same here. Dunno if they are gonna be long enough... after the long-travel shock upgrade (ala UAV) I'll know more. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

I know skyjackers sells longer brake lines too... and, of course, you can always have a race shop custom make 'em for ya. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I have them too.
The rear one was only like 2" longer than my stock hose...I think that is just a 1st gen thing. I think they will be plenty long for your lift.

I have them. ProComp does not make them,. Earl's does. Procomp just sells them.
They work great, several years old and no problems.

i went to earl's first and they didn't have the right connectors, so i order'd a set from summit. we're going to the baja 500 on friday and i wanted to be sure i had no problems with the brake lines. it will be interseting using a K5 in this capacity. thanks guys. Hoser

I use the procomp lines (earl's) and they work great. No problems with them whatsoever. Superlift does sell them and they make them up to 11'' longer, so depending on what your suspension does, you might wanna check them out. 4WPW sells both of them at decent prices.

Just installed them on my 75. Had to bend up a new brake line for the rear since I stripped the crap out of a fitting trying to break all of the original brake lines loose, but the rest of the install was pretty painless. Vice grips are your best friend for this project. Was about a 2 hour job. These offer the perfect amount of slack for a 4" lift, they look great, fit great, are made in the USA and did wonders on brake pedal feel. Excellent upgrade!
