The 4L80E in my '87 bit the dust and I got another one from the junk yard. The one that I broke is from a 1995 and the cooler lines are stacked on top of each other almost like a T-400.

The one I got from the junk yard is from a 1999 and the lines are next to each other except spaced far apart and are the quick disconnect.

Like this one.

Now I want to buy the transmission lines for the 1999 to use. However on the other end they are also quick disconnect.

My question is, can I cut the quick disconnect off and use a regular fitting so I can screw it into my radiator or is a metric line that would not allow my fittings to work on the line correctly?

Thanks
