Anyone else had a problem with fill tube on aftermarket tanks...I ordered a 78 tank from summit ...looks identical ...except fill neck is Def much larger...the old rotted tube that came off was..1"3/8...won't fit on new tank...bought 1"1/2 marine fuel line ...dosent seem like it's going to fit either ...and is too loose on fill neck in the 1/4 panel...I ain't really trying to rig anything either

some older tanks were smaller size tube.

is it for the blazer in avatar pic ?

I know some replacement radiators come with a rubber size reducer bushing .

I didn't know there was a difference in necks summit just had it listed as 31 gal 78 blazer tank...any way to make it work we would be great

The old tank had made in Canada stamped in it ...I been for for two days now trying to figure this one out

Its,driving me nuts epically after spending 45 bucks on two feet of 1 1/2 inch fuel l

Wrong tank for a 78, should be 1 1/4 neck, vent line is bigger also.
Otherwise identical.

It appears to be bigger then 1 5/8ths after buying 50$ more hose ...still don't fit ....I'm ready to lose it

Called summit ...it is indeed wrong year and diesel...they listed it wrong so ...I'm waiting for them to pick it up ..and the new to ship from manufacturers
