Are they any good? I am getting ready to lift a daily driver K5, that may see 10,000 miles or less a year, last 2 lifts I bought were tuff country, but I don't really want to spend the money on it this time, and procomp has free shipping and comes with shocks, anyone have a kit from them? hows the ride? spring life? of should I just stick with what works in the EZ rides?

RUN A SEARCH ON PRO COMP COMPLAINTS==RECALLS

then do the same for lets say, rancho, skyjacker

Just got done installing one on an '82 blazer and I saw zero problems with it. Came with quality (looking) springs that had a military wrap on the front end and urethane bushings. Also included brand new u-bolts front and rear and your typical block. If there are recalls on these I can't imagine what for except maybe the shocks are nothing to write home about. So in short I thought it looked like you get what you pay for, an inexpensive kit that gives you the lift it says.

The only recalls i could find where for their tires.

I installed a set on mine 7 or 8 years ago and I have not have had any issues with them other than they are stiff as hell.Mine came with the front springs rs3ooo shocks and u bolts.

4-5 years and no problems here. I'm sure there are better quality kits out there, but I would buy a ProComp kit again, without hesitation.

Reputation for being stiff.

For the money BDS or Tuff Country would ride better and flex better.

thanks guys I decided to get what I know and do the tuff country set up... Thanks for the input
