Its really nice when you spend good money on something and it actually does what it says.
In this case the end result is better than i expected. I talking about the DIY rear bumper and spare tire carrier.
over the last 40years a lot of my vehicles have had spare tire carriers and until now i haven't had one that didn't rattle or squeak , now they all had at least 33" tires so it was a lot of weight.

But son of a gun if the DIY is as quiet as can be that sucker doesn't even budge and it has a 37" tire on it. then on top of that when i want to lower it i can do it with one hand if i want. the thing just works amazing

Its a 1990 3/4 ton, just put in a new 383 motor, 4" lift with 37" tires, front bumper is one of the old Ramsey ones, even has a Go Rhino axle truss , interior is all stock and in great shape except i installed a alpine halo stereo so that really rocks, but best feature is i can control the winch and when i add lights all on the touch screen
Cross over steering and soon to have hydraulic assist and air lockers
