just a few random shots of progress i have made in the past couple of weeks. i got my new mastercraft rubicon seats and seatbelts. put a truck tail gate on, gonna make a custom hatch door with a window in it for the top that will work with a tail gate. can see how much fender triming i did too.... more pics.

painted my frame too, used good primer and hammertone top coat. not great pic of frame, also the titanium spacer i made to relocate the lower fender mount since i cut off the factory mount when i trimed the fenders.

my son got a laugh from my flame graffiti job, painted over dust too. when i do the paint it will have flames kinda like that.

Looking really good. Gotta love the hammer paint. Stuff is pretty durable and goes on easy!

even if you have a run in the paint it hides it well. wish it dried faster though. its just sharp look'in paint.

thanks guys for the props on the parts washer. i put it on here right after powder coat, then it sat for a couple of months so i could collect some more money to finish the wireing and plumbing. i might even build a light bar out of aluminum square tube to hang a 8 ft. floresent light to see good.

here are a few more, but not real good ones though. the black primer i used to paint the edge after i trimed every thing makes it kinda hard to see the lip edge. the third pic shows the fender after it was cut, you have that big gap between the outer skin and inner fender structure. the next pic is of the fender after i welded in a strip of .062 steel sheet, shapped to fit and fill the gap. that stiffened up that part of the fender alot. every where i trimed im going to reweld a strip back in to fill the gap created to stiffen it up.
