Whats as cool as a K5, Cooler than a bronco, and almost as long as a burban.

An International Harvester Traveler (Terra)

Finally talked my roomate into fixin up the Traveler.

It started out "OK" with a 4" spring under w/ 32's (and no doors)

Threw in some 3/4 ton chevy axles (4.56 welded rear, lockright front) and spring over for a lift that barely got out of the garage w/ little tires

Throw on some 38's to fill the gaps

Add some Dedenbear knuckles and Billistic Fab crossover arms to help steer and some 5150 Bilstein to help the bouncy bouncy

very nice! one of these days my other scout is gonna be on 1-tons. love the half-cab.

that is awsome do the tires stick out cause of some crazy amount of backspacing/spacers or are these trucks just realy narrow? Eather way it looks awsome.

Man i really like those trucks. There is a guy under the burlington skyway that has like four or five different Internationals. I stopped a couple of times to look at them and no one ever came out. But this one time I stopped, I had like three guys with me, and the dude came out, and told us to "step away from the trucks boys".

I geuss he saw us drooling, and was worried us doing something stupid. None are in fantastic condition. Three are running, and there are bunch more parked down his drivway in random states of operation.

I have only ever seen those things in one place, and that is at this guys house. I am envious of him...

nice rig, almost as cool as a k5? maybe cooler cuz of the rare factor... :X

They aren't really RARE, but as with all old Internationals i've run across...the bodies are made of compressed rust. The trucks and scouts would even rust out in desert locales, not just up here in the salt belt.

I could drive around for an hour or so on the back roads here and see about 15-20 of them, 99% of which are wearing a plow and delegated to driveway and parking lot duty, and they are all also rusted beyond belief.

i know a guy with a scout, but you wont find more than 10 in town, and there are almost 800,000 residents...

Sweet I am building front link suspension for one of those right now. Its got one tons 40s and is bobbed

He does sell those. If you notice they rotate through. There are a couple on Mud Rd too on the North side, but I can't remember which intersection it is near.
