Project Cheap Date, 1992 GMC G3500 4x4 camper/ bug out

After we got it home, the wife got the WA green slime washed off.

This weekend we pulled it in the shop, charged the battery and it started without hesitation. The wife and daughter-in-law cleaned out the interior and applied a few decals as well.

The brakes were dragging so the test drive didn't make it far. So it went up on the lift instead.

One ton vans only got SF rear and the conversion company never used a D60 in this era. They did use a driver drop 32 spline NP205 though.
MOST 1 ton vans only got semi float rears . i own 2 14ff 70" wms to wms rears from g30 vans .

There's a power company 4x4 van in my area just like yours. Gets very few miles on it every year. My buddy says he's gonna buy it some day when they finally auction it! I think it has a ford dana 44 and ford 205 in it. Not sure why they didn't do GM.

my 1 14ff come from a 1 owner 1995 g30 and the other was a junkyard pull out multi rib 88-newer housing from a g30 1998ish if i recall on the tag .

no biggy just there mostly SF rear on the vans . i am always looking when i spot a 8lug van .

My 92 is 8600 GVWR. Looking for rear brakes I did see there were larger GVWR options available for that year so that is likely where the FF came in then.
