project double tap

as it sits in the pic its 4in lift springs front with a 1in zero rate so 5in in front and 4in blocks in the rear. but will end up being 6in in front and a 4in shackleflip in the rear and either 2in springs or blocks to make 6in rear

Nice :thumb:. What are you running for lift hight on this one?

Well, I wouldn't say I am all that great with bodywork, but I've done a repair like that one before. (Unfortunately not close by either!) :doah:

I used a MIG welder, exactly like you said and then a 36 grit sanding disc on 90 deg. die grinder to blend and flatten the welds. Then went over the top with filler and voila! That will do the trick nicely!

These little guys are some of my favorites for making small precise grinding fast work and they do well in tight areas too.

Just curious where do you order the rolocs from we can't source them locally.

Ahh, that sucks - I hear ya. I'm lucky enough that even my local carquest has them!

I'd check out autobodystore. I think this link below will suit you. And if anyone has ever visited that place they know it is a treasure trove of bodyworking info and gurus. I've bought quite a few things from Len over the years and he is first class. A really great guy that will take the time to help his customers over the phone.
