Not like I didn't have enough to work on already but I have been wanting to build a 69-72 4x4 so what the heck

the white one is what inspired my mind to want one of these again.. hmmm

its a sm420 or sm465??? /rockwell t-case and newer 1/2 ton axles under it.

Not sure of my plans just yet..

I'm sure you will have fun with it. Keep us posted on your plans for it as they develop. Easy way to confirm whether it is a SM465 is to find reverse - reverse to the right of 4th gear = SM465, not SM420.

yup, sm465 thanks for the tip too,

missing the linkage off the t-case and shifters, came with a whole pile of extra parts, bummer no factory tow hooks, would have recouped some coin!

i have a good small block and its missing the clutch/flywheel ect. so it looks like thats first on the list.

Please be "nice" to this one Shaun there to rare to be beat to a pulp !!

Looks like it will be fun I love 67-72 4x4 pickups someday I'll get to "finish" (start) my 69 C-20

My Ideas were : Magnusson supercharged 6.0 NV4500/205 14-bolt/60 with 4.56's 37" radials and all the modern comfort items, with a stock 2 tone style paint and chrome

i think i have the transfercase shifter i found under the seat of my 67' IF you need it, its yours. But im sure you have an allison or something uber cool in the works?:deal:

this afternoon got the front clip all taken apart and cleaned up the frame to inspect it, truck came with 4 grills, 2 core supports, 4 front fenders, 2 steering columns "1 auto, 1 stick", 2 windshield cowls, 4 doors, 6 or 8 inner fender wells, and 6 driveshafts

lots of parts lol

I have a 350 here already, so plan is to take the whole body off, clean, primer and paint the frame, get some cab mounts and start on the body work, new clutch, motor/trans lines and fire her up!

I also know where a 94 chevy is with a 5 speed and tbi 350 is so that could be an option and do a divorced dodge 205.. cool

Ill let you know on the shifter once i have all this figured out!:waytogo:
