this was a full 90% bolt in air ride conversion kit for a b6 platform audi s4 .

accu air full kit with I-controller option also to do master function control from I-phone/pad/pod touch .

hardest part was finding pics of of how to mount the level sensors as most people don't do this to b6 platform audi cars from what I was told.

so I figured I would post up pics of the quality work I can do and also how to mount the sensors for others to find and help with there projects.

also shout out to my buddy t-dot here in town who helped me a bit on the kit.

pic - 1 car on bottom no air in bags.

pic - 2 clean simple tank / valve / brain box / compressor mount all in the trunk .

air bags rear bolt in place of stock coils . struts in rear direct swap out . front bag/strut units 98% direct swap out .

pic - 1 - 2 = air dump hoses ran down / out the back body and attached to the bottom of the bumper each side just above each exaust port in the bumper .

pic - 3 = factory tank top cover with factory rubber plug cut down and run the 4 wires up in from each sensor input to the brain box.

pic - 4 - 5 = front and rear air lines all run in just under the rear seat at holes in the floor for abs wires and poped 2 in front edge to add front hoses in from the front area of the fuel tank . also all air lines cover in 3/8" rubber hose to help prevent cuts against the body .

and for a super clean safe up out of the way install I droped the rear suspension and driveline unit along with the fuel tank . this let me run lines and wires so easy with the factory lines for fuel and brake with tons of room and super clean install.

also MAJOR NOTE : there is no room between the top of the gas tank and the trunk floor . don't aks me how I know this :doah:

and BIG thanks to http://www.shokan.com/used-audi-parts.php for the correct part first time . :thumb::thumb::thumb: when all other parts yards failed .

pic - 1 = air ride I-controller bolted to the left kick panel stereo box and air inlet filter plumbed there also to help keep it quiet .

pic - 2 -5 = air lines clipped and screwed down nice n neat and mostly hidden under carpet / panels . and all wires cleaned and loom covered and run as clean as possible . and the ugly parts all hiddin behind tank and covered by back seat when its up so in the end you get the clean simple trunk look when open . I also used some taylor spark plug wire seperators and drilled them out from 8mm to 3/8" to clamp and separate the air lines and look killer. also labled the air lines for each port or function . and a buss bar for ground and positive power points.

pic - 1 = left front accu air level sensor tucked in just behind the brake hose tab at the body . then cut off the #4 hole .

pic - 2 = drill n tap tiny hole in lower rear control arm to take the bolt for the link to level switch . and I used a longer bolt and a section of 1/4" brake hose cut to length for a simple / clean spacer to make the arm stick out level and as close to 90* to the arm movement.

pic - 3 = right front accu air level sensor on custom spacer plate bolted to body in 2 stock holes .

pic - 4 = same drill n tap hole and longer bolt and brake line spacer .

note #1 : couldn't put rf sensor in same spot as left cause of a heat shield in the way there . that's why its in front.

note #2 : lf sensor will be super close to rim / tire sidewall edge. check for clearance.

1" wide flat stock 1/8" thick .

cut 2 5" long chunks give or take .

bend a 90* in 1 end to drill a hole to let the rear sub frame bolt pass up threw it . and grind a small flat spot in the factory cant remove bolt washer to clear the bracket .

then sandwich it up in and clock it as needed . bolt on sensor to new drop bracket and add link .

link will line up with stock lower control arm . at the OOOO loge drill the outer most " O " out for the screw / bolt provided . and then cut link to length as per directions .

then when all done you get a sweet system .

the vehicle lift I used was older with cross chains in the middle and a 1.5" safty drive over plate . the car rubbed tranny / exaust with no air in the bags over this . :eek1:

the accu air kit was real nice .

we used the exo-mount for the tank hold down / valve mount / brain box mount / rubber isolator mounted compressor .

was the 5 gal tank also .

well he likes it and has drivin it from upstate ny all the way to nj car show this past weekend.

loves the ride over his old coil over setup .

also no one at the show had a system installed that simple / clean / hiddin the way I did his . the others were real nice he said and clean . but not hiddin like I did with most of the stuff.
