The goal is to get new seats and mount them to the roll cage, but I figured I might as well repaint the cage if we're gonna do that, and well, since we're at it, the floors are kind of rusty so...

Ok, I have to know something that has been killing me for a while...how do you pronounce Corbeau?

-Avery

Thats the correct pronunciation. Its French, so it works when you twist-up your mouth like you're choking on a pickle.:haha:

nice seats noah, I have a set of baja ss ultra's and they are awesome seats. everybody loves there corbeau's (cor-bow's)

I'm pretty excited abotu the new seats. Witht he setup I have now, I can barely reaach the pedals and because everything was welded in place there's not much to do except start cutting...Also, the LMC floor panels are whacky, but as soon as we got a point of reference (please feel free to ask for detail) it went in pretty easily...

Between this, the flooding fix roadnotca told me about (and hooked me up with:bow: ), I will be ready for another trip pretty soon...Where we going?

Not to thread jack, but Avery I was reading your signature, do you really have a 38.5's with 3.08 gearing? How the heck does that work. Noahrob, are you going to Miller Jeep in a week or two? I can make it this time

I'll tell you what. with no roof and the heat the way it has been, I think I will skip this Miller trail (plus the whole fix the floor issue)....My next Miller run will probably be mid to late September...I might try to hook up with some of the guys from SLO in late August for some of the trails up there (NOT PISMO)

Where did you get those floor panels? Ive looked everywhere and can only find the 76 up version

I've never seen a K5's floors opened up. I thot they were like my Sub's but my Subs don't have that second 'floor' to them. Seems like that would be a great place to store something. Make access doors in the floor and put in baffles, if needed, to keep things from sliding beyond reach.

that looks good. i was going to get those seats for my blazer but they had a fixed back. that is why im thinking of getting the new MasterCraft baja RS seats that can recline. And the come in the color to match the rest of my interior.

Uh, yeah. The P/O was an idiot and I haven't put the new gears in yet. It works for around town though, just won't take it off-road until I swap over to 4.88's or 5.13's, haven't decided yet.

no doubt about the heat, been better here this weekend. Are you thinking about doing the Garcia Ridge trail? If so I would be down for a northern trip. Have a couple friends who might be interested too.

Yeah, Miller 8/13. Ya never know about the heat, we just came back from Azusa and it was really mild. The clouds were right overhead.:D
