Project Skinny Jimmy has begun *update 8/28/04*

Decided to narrow out the Jimmy, he is about 14" narrower at the widest point and the widest point on this truck now is by the doors.

Another angle.

Rear shot, the rockers actually taper in towards the back.

Started on the cage today, decided to use some 2" DOM that was left outside /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif for the straight sections.

I removed the outer material where the doors mount, since I will not be using doors anymore and I removed the inners of the fenders. Then, I flattened the back of the fender so I could attach it flush to the cab. I will take some more pics today and some actual measurements too. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

I want to get a new one and narrow it all the way down. So from the front it is skinny from the side it looks normal!!!

That looks good so far, can't wait to see the finished product!!

I'd like to build a tube buggy and just put K5 skins on it so it looks like you say, a really narrow K5.
