So my project has been coming very slowly, but I hit a mile stone today (dual transfer cases completed) and there is hope still to be done by june sometime if money permits. Heres where i've come from and what i've done

Bought a 1973 GMC Jimmy in June 2004 for $1500 (drove from LA to San Fransisco to get it)

Bought a 76 Cadillac in June 2004 for motor only

Starting in august 2004 I took apart my current 1989 K5 blazer for the axles and front clip

These pictures are just kinda progress pictures of what i've done so far and where i'm at

let me know if you need any help dropping the motor in or anything.

did you have to do any work to the motor other then make it pretty?....

nice progress pics.. slowly but surely...

Lookin' good Branndon.
I forget if you mentioned in the past...but did you ever end up having problems with the motor when it got rained on? I saw that post a few weeks ago when I was searching for something else.

Nice to see it together, you will have one hell of a ride, the cadillac motors are monsters.

mmm full convertible, if only BC didn't rain!

thanks guys! the rims are stazworks, they work awesome and the customer support has been great. And thanks kyle, i had to take it apart twice during the whole job, but i figured out what i did wrong... all thats left on the project is install motor,tranny,t-cases, get shafts, buy/install all hoses/wires for enging, make brakes and steering work, and a few other things, it could be done by mid june if i had the determination and funds.... we'll see :cool1:
