I'm setting up my system and was wondering what lockoff you're using...

I have both, a vff30 vacuum and a 12v electric...

Just trying to figure out which one to go with...

Thanks...

A vff30 is fine. If you use the electric one you should really run it through a vac switch anyway so the vff30 saves a step.

It came off a running truck...

The guy gave me both lockoffs, so I'm researching which one to use...

BTW, it's an impco 425, impco model e and the two lockoffs...

They say a picture's worth a thousand words.

Never. It's forced flow through the vaporizer the way I have it plumbed. Well, as much forced as a centrifugal pump will make.

question

Guys I bought a dual fuel propane setup, came off a TBI 350 chevy truck. Looks dang near identical to what you have there, problem is the adapter that let it sit on top of the TBI unit is not the right size for my holley truck avenger. Anyone know where i can get an adapter, I would kinda like to just run propane, with no carb whatsoever. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

What he's running looks like a 425...

You might be able to pull off the propane upper portion and bolt it to the base plate of the holley and run propane only...

My 425 is bolted to a Q-jet base plate...

Yes, mine is a 425, and yes if you want to run propane only, a 425 will bolt directly to any Holley 4 barrel baseplate with no adapter. The Qjet one like you have is kinda hard to find but works awesome if you can find one and you have a manifold to match.

More pics. This is a 425.

Mine has the IMPCO model 300. Looks like I should be able to just purchase a 425 and swap that on there... Anyone want to buy a brand new holley 770cfm truck avenger? Ill sell / swap for a 425 mixer.

I have the 425 bolted on now and running...

I'm thinking about taking the 300a I have off the q-jet(it's set up for dual fuel) and bolting it directly to the bottom plate and see how it works bolted on the sbc 350...

Whoa, did you use a flex radiator hose for your low pressure line to the carb? You really need a piece of actual propane low pressure hose. That radiator hose won't deal with the oil in the propane very well.

This was how it was on the truck that it got pulled from...

I just threw it on mine to make sure everything worked...

The truck that it came off was a 2wd that had a 60 gal tank in the bed that went tits up...

Know that I know everything is in working order, it will get some love...
