I would recommend at least 4.56 gears with 35" tires and the OD tranny. Granted, 4.10's would be worlds better than the current 3.08's but I still think 4.56's are the way to go. With that said keep in mind that there is not a huge difference between 4.10 and 4.56, so not like you will magically get a lot better mileage with 4.10's.
What I always tell people is that running 4.56's on the highway with a 700r4 tranny would be equivalent to a truck without an OD tranny (th350 or th400) with 3.20 gears.
