Props for EXTREME AXLES SALES

As of last Sat. while wheeling @ Rausch Creek, this company gets all my axle business.

Story goes...
We were at Rausch for East Coast Summer Crawl during the W.E.ROCK weekend and I busted the drivers side knuckle of my furd HP60 doing a front dig.

Of course it was WAY on the other side of the park too!

Anyway, we had called the office and arranged to have it welded when I yelled out (half jokingly) "call a vendor at WEROCK" someone might have one there.

Turns out they got a hold of Doug from Extreme Axles and even though he had left the park for the day and was heading for his hotel room, he turned around, unlocked his trailer, found the part I needed and waited for us to get there!!

Very cool Doug, thank you!

To top it off, he dropped the 'quoted' price from the phone conversation another 20 bucks! SWEET!

Whether he realized it or not, he sold me a set of Deadenbears right there and then.

Dana 60 field repaired knuckle in about 2hrs!

Lucky break (pun intended) for you getting help on a busted knuckle. That type of failure can really ruin a weekend.... you don't typically make many friends when there's a line of trucks behind you on the trail either!!!

$80 for a used one. Of coarse it's going to cost more to get the good ones. I stopped up there on Sun to meet him and to thank him for all his help. I also told him to expect a call Mon or Tues for a set of Ford Deadenbears.

those aren't the right ones for you. wouldn't that suck?

why would you order them without the tierod mounts? its not like its gonna hit on anything. at least if they are there you have options if you ever need to go back to low steer or sell them.

He definitely gets my business when I order an ARB for the front, free shipping on that too. Kurt I love the line under your avatar.

Less weight....more faster!

Those spots might be cool to mount some rock lights (they always aim where you are heading too!), but otherwise it just adds a set of goofy "horns" to an otherwise clean front suspension setup.

lights would be interesting. You might be a little anal if the horns bother you on your clean suspension. the fact that its clean should bother you.
