Congrats, good for you. You just learning or do you know how to weld already?
I can weld, but I am definetly still learning too. I welded in high school, and some off and on since then, but now I can get back in to it.

hurry up and try the machine out, let us know how ya like it...lincoln quit making them and i can find close outs that put it close in price to the hobart 140 i've bbeen looking at..i'd like to have the extra amperage of that 175, but airgas guy told me that 1 you have won't work w/spoolgun...is that true? they make universal spoolguns, not sure why that 1 won't...b/c i want a spoolgun setup for aluminium and keep 2 bottles of gas
I will be trying it out this week hopefully at least messing around. They are for sale on ebay for about $100 less than they are in the store. I got it for $480 and its $599 at Home Depot. I am not sure about the spool gun, but I don't see why it wouldnt work..it says in the description add a spoolgun to weld aluminum.
