Alot of people are talking about a power steering pump mod & resvoir after going hydro-assist. Can anyone explain? Thanks

After I did this mod my hoses started leaking,much like a soaker hose. And never at a convieniant time or location! I took the offending hose to my parts supplier and he cut the ends off and put a hydro.hose in the middle. No more leaks! This hose is rated at 2500psi,way more pressure than I`ll ever make. It was acctualy cheaper than a replacment hose. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

A lot of guys are using the top of a pump conected by a piece of hose. I got one from a van,(diesls have one that is a different style).

Yeah thats what I hear. But I don't think I'm gunna need the pump mod because its alreayd pretty touchy wiht a 1.5" ram and I'm only running 35's. If i ever step up to like 39+ i'll do the mod.
