Repurposed thread.

If I remove the can o ham reservoir from my pump, is there any way to feed it fluid from my reservoir? I don't feel like spending another $60 on another pump. Mine is only a couple of months old.

pump has same mounting pattern to what bracket you have so i have found for the stuff i have played with.

Im saying no can at all on the pump. direct feed from the resi like an "n-style" pump.

My 454 has only a remote resevoir, but the canister that goes around the pump has just recently beban being reproduced, and they aren't cheap. I think they are close to $100 from CPP.

fyi all vans used remote resivor small body housing on pumps like the bbc stuff or 6.2 did .

i got a complete pump and resivor and remote tank from a van at the local yard.

and also vans were hydro boost good for hydro boost swap pump if you need one and get remote tank fill at the same time.

on our lifted trucks it would be super to pop hood and check fluids easy than climb up in engine bay.

This is why I need the new pump.
Kert sent me a sexy reservoir that wants to be filled up. :)

There is no way that will work. I'll be more than happy to drive to Austin and take it off your hands to save you the time and hassle of trying to use that :thumb:

same basic resivor you get from a chevy van pump but that one has threaded fitting on top for hose rather than gm orignal from van with barbed fitting.
