PSC or WTO or AGR hydro assist

My stock pump and box isnt holding up very well to 39.5x18 boggers. Both are less than a few months old and they crapped out on me. I did the mods on the pump, it helped but it was never as good as I wanted it to be. Im going to do hydro assist to help my steering and take some stress off my frame and steering parts. I need a new pump and box, so Im just going to dish out the money and buy a complete kit, ive been looking at the WTO stage 3 kit which I think is like $700, and the PSC kit which looking to be about $990 and the AGR kit which is $980. Does anyone have any input on either of these kits of which one is better? I do have hydro-boost, so thats going to be a factor, Ive been following that thread about using a second pump or getting the hydro-boost rebuild, but id like to avoid both of those options.

So basically which kit is better? PSC or WTO or AGR

Have you checked out the RockLogic rams? Their kits run from 240 to 400 complete and if you don't want to drill/tap into your box, Blazenoffroad has tapped top caps and bottom caps as well. It's all on their website.

I don't know how good the RockLogics are, but I plan on getting one.

Well im trying to get a good hi flow pump, and i think my box is done for, so im just going to buy a new one.

WTO or PSC
Both are good companies owned by good peeps.

Stay away from AGR (otherwise known as ARG my steering doesn't work)

I would seriously consider going to two pumps or having your hydroboost unit ported.

There's a good chance you will have to do that anyway (i.e. you will try to steer and brake at the same time and find out that the truck doesn't want to do that anymore).

If you don't, and it works ok, you'll never know how good your steering could have been.

No i know what your saying, and I know the feeling. Im going to see if I can maybe add a pump where my 2nd alternator use to be.

I just got my PSC 1.75X8 from UPS today, and it looks awesome. If it was me I would go PSC.

I would go with PSC. Great people to work with. I have the full Hydro assist kit. Box is awesome, Pump works great and the ram works good. Plus the resivor is pimp. Anyways thats what I think.

I am running a WTO box & ram. I modded the stock pump as shown on WTO's website. It works great. I am very happy w/ it. Good guys to talk to on the phone & good to deal with.
