PSD tow

Sweet. Should be a great tow rig.

I'm not allowed to tow with a diesel until i'm ready to write the check :)

Cool, looks good. 4.10's or 3.73's? You think you'll have transmission cooling problems or is it a stick?

Its got 4.10s. I haven't had any problems with the auto tranny so far, but I do have a gauge to keep an eye on it.

Looks good. Love me a dually too. I should try to get a vid of my silly 6.0L lighting up the 37s when I get home.

i'd look into water meth as well.
my understanding from people that have propane is, unless you're doing stupid long distance hauling, you dont really see the benefit over cost. one guy i talked to that loved his, just delivered the brand new 5th wheel campers all over, so all he did was drive the states back and forth.

I'm against propane injection in a diesel.

Adding propane is just substituting one fuel for another. Besides, as a gaseous fuel, it predetonates in the cylinder while compressing as soon as temperature is reached, because it's unregulated.

Nitrous is nice that way, its an oxidizing agent. Not a fuel source. It cools the charge, adds oxygen molecules. Forces thermal efficiency to go up.

Water meth, is the best compromise, IMO. Although methanol is a fuel, water is the oxidizer. Cheaper than both other options too usually.

plus i believe you can tweak from the 50/50 split and get either a little more power, or a little more cooling/mpg depending on the split.

There must be something wrong with the water/methanol set-up on my friends 7.3. It doesn't cool the exhaust any, but you can feel the power increase when it comes on. Also you can run through the washer tank in 100 miles or so.

Invest in a transmission cooler for a 6.0L truck. They dwarf the 7.3 cooler & are a bolt in. The 4r100 will thank you.
