PTO provision on automatic trucks?

I have a 87 V3500 (T400/205) I would like to add a PTO to power a hydraulic pump. Since its a auto I cannot add one to the tranny like a standard. It appears that the transfer case has a PTO provision? There is very little clearance though between the hole and the frame though.

Yes, the NP205 does have a PTO port. I've seen a few K30 dumptrucks that were set up just like you want, with a PTO running a hydraulic pump for the dump bed.

A friend of mine on who's on here runs a PTO winch. I don't know, however, if he's got the NP205 case. His username is buff_dog70, he might be able to help you out.
