I found a 76 short bed with a 4" lift today, so I ask them how much for the front springs, blocks, and steering arm the guy tells me 50.00 for it all. hoe do you feel about junkyard parts? The blocks would only be temp until I get a flip kit. The truck sat level and it had 6 lug 15x10 wheels. If I get it are there any other parts I should get off it? no motor trans TC or interior pieces left. Would that fit my 76 K5?

yes it will fit

i have no problems with junk yard parts, you can tell if they are worn out or beaten. one thing i keep in mind when buying used or junkyard parts is dont expect like new stuff if your not paying new prices.

Look for the obvious stuff and typically you will be alright. Check for bends, cracks, etc. I have used many junkyard parts with great success. Dont expect perfect bushings and dont expect it to provide you with exactly 4" lift. it may be close, but chances are they are broken in, so they may or may not provide the lift as once advertised.

i love my junkyard here for odds and ends. i need to get back out there more often.
