I went ahead and ordered Viair 20007 along with a relocation kit (90007)so i can have air outside on the rear bumper by the licence plate and a relay(93940). going to pic up a switch and some wire friday so i can install it or figure out where i want to put it. I will make an install thread or build thread when i do it this weekend or next week when ever this stuff comes in.

I have the Viair 10007. It airs up the 37"s with ease but it does take a few minutes. I have also used it to take off tires with the air gun. You won't be disappointed.

HAHAHA 6872xtc that's funny

I am trying to figure out were to put it.
Don't know if I want it under the Blazer.
So I must experiment......

I put my ARB compressor as far forward and outboard as possible in the '90. I figured that the air coming off of the engine fan was still better than exposing it to less airflow by trying to tuck under the battery, or any road splash elsewhere.
@ZooMad75 put his under the passenger seat. I don't know if he has any feedback yet.

Negative ghost rider. @Capt Ron put his ARB twin under his passenger seat. My giant smittybilt compressure is on an aux battery tray on my drivers side inner fender.

I don't have any better shot of it, but I really haven't noticed any issue from the heat of the engine compartment effecting the compressor. I always throw the hood up when it's running anyway, unless I kick it on to fill my 3 gallon air tank I have under the radiator support.

Well , just shows how my memory is failing....
But thanks for the clarification and input.

No problem. As the only two on here with the FWC camper on our rigs it's easy to get them mixed up.

No air compressor is quiet for sure. Not sure I'd be willing to put one inside, but given the sound of mine under the hood it might as well have been mounted inside.

the reason i am thinking inside is thieves are getting bold here. i had to weld all my stuff in place lights, winch, bumper and i don't want it stolen. so when i decide on final placement i will well the mounting bolts so it has a less likely chance of being swiped.

last thursday in the area they hit 30 plus cars.......my neighbor got a paver brick though his window on his brand new truck had it less than 6 mouths

ARRIVES SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!!

still trying to figure out how to mount the chuck on the outside in rear bumper, any one have insight on this?

got to adapt the tank fitting from 3/8 to 1/4 inch but it is a 3/4 fitting in the tank.

Being on the underside a rubber cap of some kind would help keep the air QD clean and operational
It's difficult to keep the female quick disconnect from getting trashed. What I have done to trucks that don't use it often, is put a small 1/4 turn ball valve with a male coupler end on it. It's easier to cap, or blow the chunks out, wipe the outside off, and hook up. You just end up with a hose with female ends on both ends.

ya but a rubber cap will not hold 200 psi, its the fitting on the top i have to adapt too
