So I pulled the carpet out of my '68 and I'm left with a mess. I've started scraping all the black tar paper kinda stuff off and getting the carpet glue and insulation off.

I have a few "quick strip" wheels for my grinder that works well at taking the last little bit of crap off, without grinding into metal. Trouble is though, I can't get everything with it and it's very time consuming.

I have tons of this stuff at work. Just purchased 100 gallons :D

It stinks to high heaven but works great and cleans up with water.
Anyone try this for their trucks? I plan on cleaning the floor and applying POR15 to coat it real good. Then maybe FatMat and carpet, not sure yet. What say you?

I just took my wifes whole C10 apart and had cab blasted little over board but hey no rust now! The stripper is good but I don't like using cause can seep and hide in cracks etc causing problems later. What about a heat guy and scrapper?

if you're willing to use the jasco why not use a more aggressive wheel?
