yup I used to do this on my 86 z-28...
believe it was the top row.... very last pin and 3rd one in...
in case you dont know or if you do I will ramble it anyway....
turn key to on position and count the check engine flashes...
on - pause - on on = 12 which is fine...
there are like 8 tests
so if you had...
on on on on - pause - on on = 42
