pulling out the ight switch

So i got the button and the rod out by pressing in the button on the side of the switch and pulling the rod out, and the wires are unplugged out of the switch but i need to get the rest unhooked from the dash and I cant figure out how its supposed to come out. by the way its an 83 k5. anybody know how this comes out?

With the switch pull removed, you'll see a bit black round thing with a slot (if you're sitting in the seat looking where the switch 'pull' used to be) Use a flat screwdriver in the slot and unscrew it...that's all there is to it.
