I think I posted in the wrong area...sorry bout that. So I am going have my floor reworked on my 91 Chevy K5. Its hard to really do a lot of work on my truck, because right now, its my everyday driver. I want to buy the parts/metal before I take it to the shop to get done. My question is, of the following list of items, am I missing something, or is there something I do not need?

38-7943 CAB FLOOR HALF - RH
38-7942 CAB FLOOR HALF - LH
38-7973 REAR CAB MOUNT-RH1 REQ
38-7972 REAR CAB MOUNT LH1 REQ
38-7964 FRONT CAB MOUNT-OE TYPE 2 REQ
38-7977 SUBFRAME-CAB SUPPORT-RH1 REQ
38-7976 SUBFRAME-CAB SUPPORT-LH1
38-6529 ROCKER PANEL-OUTER-RH
38-6528 ROCKER PANEL-OUTER-LH
38-7841 INNER ROCKER PANEL-EXTENDED-RH
38-7840 INNER ROCKER PANEL-EXTENDED-LH
38-7947 REAR CAB FLOOR HALF-RH
38-7946 REAR CAB FLOOR HALF-LH

I know that in order to really say what is needed, one must see whats going down on the truck. I am just trying to find out if there is anything else that I should replace while I'm getting this done? I have to use this as my regular everyday driving vehicle, so until I get a second car, I just need to get the floor and whatnot done up to pass inspection. IT seems the bed(behind the back seat) is fine, no rust at all. Any input on this would really be appriciated.

i'd bet bottom dollar your rear tailpan is toast... one of the first things to rot usually...

word of warning.... you MAY wanna leave it up to the shop to use their distributor that they are happy with... tho all the aftermarket stuff is virtually identical, meaning crappy (taiwan stampings), certain pieces are made VERY VERY chitty... the main culprits being the front floor panels... every set i've seen fit like poo....

you may piss the shop off.... leaving it up to them, they can't bitch at you... or maybe at least ask whatever shop your gonna use if they'd like you to get the stuff, or do they wanna order themselves...

Ima check the tailpan in the morning when I have some light. I would love to do the work myself, I just really have no where to do it, or the tools...anymore. Ill just leave it up to the shop...probabily shoot up there later in the week to get estimate. Cant wait to see the price :P
