Purple hair and a 1972 GMC

The first step will be making it reliable. Long term she wants a low lift with 37" tires look but with nice paint and body work. That is getting into @Greg72 territory sectioning fenders to make the opening bigger. Guess I'd better start reading his build thread.

Drove this truck home last night. It will need a little bit of mechanical work to be reliable. The carb is going a little too much fuel at times, then too little other times and ball joints are worn. But the brakes work, the motor is strong, and the transmission shifts well.

Of course, it wouldn't be Washington state without squatters. First project was to evict the culprits. Luckily, they did not get into the cab and stopped at the heater core.

Closing this thread out as we traded it back to the previous owner. He wanted it back and my wife wanted a K5 or Suburban that wasn't as big of a project... that now has it's own build thread.
