I Found a push bar that bolts to the frame and bumper that should fit my 78'. how much should aspect to pay? the guy says its in really good shape. And how do i know if it will fit? could somone who has one of these things messure it?

Thanks

ask him if you could take a pic....that would be helpful to determine price. on my 78 stepside, i paid 15 dollars for one at the local junkyard that i found off a 80' gmc that fit fine. anything that was on a 73 - 80 truck with factory bumpers should fit your rig.

factory bumpers should be the question though....

I asked he said his camera is broke.

Then my response would be "funny thing is, I'm broke too" those bolt on guards should be had cheap these days regardless of condition. I literally have them handed to me about once or twice a year, I seem to get a lot of worthless roll bars and side steps too.

Offer him $20 if you really want it, $10 if you just think it's cool and $5 if you a bargain.

I just bought a pretty heavy one from a member here for $20. Just needs a it of paint (doing that tonight) and it'll be bolted onto the Blue Brick tomorrow.

the first pushbar i bought from the jy was off a 86. found out that didnt work....so sorry to hijack but if anyone is interested...

Measure the hole to hole on the front , then measure your bumper bolts .

That looks like the chrome one I had on my 83 , so you never know , they all look the same .
