Hey Everyone,

I've decided that while I am wrapping up the new engine I would wire some stuff to toggle switches on my dash.
I want toggle switches for my headlights, high beams included. Switch for my electrical, switch for starter power, and finally a push button starter.
Along with the switches I want to install some sort of light above each switch to let me know it has power, I was thinking LED but I'm not sure how hard this would be.
Where is a good place to buy LEDs of different colors? Does anyone have a write up for something like this? Has anyone ever done this, how did it turn out?
I did some searching and didn't turn up much that was helpful for what I needed.

Thanks,
Surveyor

I'll bite, LED's can be wired in to the hot side of the switch when the switch is on thus completing the circuit. Check out painless wiring's website, I think they have schematics that show the wiring diagrams for their products. I'd look for full chasis wiring packages for something like a sand rail or dune buggy, might make it easier to trace and identify. Hell, you could even buy a painless kit and make it alot easier than trying to piece a kit together. I'd search for sand rail wiring diagrams etc. Hope this helps, Im good with electrical stuff, but not so hot at explaining it.
