i just ordered a lock right and want to know what you guys would do, put it in the front axle or the rear axle.

just what i've been thinking. i have to pull one of the axle shafts in the front to replace a seal, so i might as well pull the other one and put it in the front. but it will probably do me better in the rear, don't ya think? i also plan to get rid of the 10 bolt in the rear and go 3/4 ton, so that's another reason i want to put it in the front.

Get one for both. That being said i run a lockrite in the front and a gov-lok in the rear.

I don't know your local terrain . In mine ( rocks ) we do the rear first and the front as soon as possible after that .

Put it in rear , and swap it to front the weekend you go 3/4 ton .

i'll be going 3/4 ton when i get a 14ff, the stuff to conert the front to 8 lug, and wheels. no telling how long that will be from now.

the only riding that i'm going to be doing is mud and trail rides, i climb in and out of ditches and sand pits

in the rear til you swap it up front and put a gov-loc in back(rear axel swap)...truck will amaze you goin from open/open

Use it as a book end to hold books up.

or

I did mine in the rear and did not regret it.

well i found another one on ebay for $100, but it has 2 more days on the bid
