I have a 95 LeSabre(no I'm not an old codger, I like the stealth aspect.Cops don't even look at me!) I found a super charger off of a 95 Bonneville for $100. Iwas wondering if any one had any experience pitting one on a N/A motor?Do I need to do anything else to the motor? I looked all over the web and there isn't much info on adding one, just complete engine swaps.

You need the ECM out of the SC car.
Intake manifold.
Compression Ratio must be lowered to 8.5 to 1. New Pistons?
MAF sensor out of the SC car.
Bigger Injectors. SC uses 30LB injectors. IIRC Stock NAd injectors are 19LB and wont support the SC.
also IIRC the MAP sensor is a 2 or 3 bar in SC 3.8s.

There are diferences in the NAd and SC engines. SC engines are stronger. SC trannys are stronger.
I am sure there is some other stuff i cant rember.
More trouble than it is worth for 40 HP

That is why most people just swap in the SC engine. and trans axle.

Yea the concensus I get is that it's a big PIA so I'll just forget that idea. Thanks for the input.
