Putting a vent in tranny tunnel cover for cab heat.

Neat idea if you could shut it off. I've driven trucks with no tunnel and you get a ton of heat.

Most of our trucks have have enough holes in the floor already, no need for a vent...

Would make sure your exhaust is sealed tight?

I had a 75 K5 when we lived on the east coast. Needless to say it was a rust bucket with big holes in the floor. In the winter time you had to run the heat on full blast while driving down the road because all the cold air coming in the holes. Heaven help you if you stopped for long because then the cold air flow stopped and it got hotter than hell.
