Putting her top back on isn't nearly as much fun as running around with it off.

Hi All,
Here in Illinois the weather is starting to Suck. That means I get to put the top back on the '72 this week (that sucks too...). If anyone has any thoughts, tips or tricks concerning this, please let me know.

Thanks.

You Know it. I have an Alero thats gonna get the brunt of the winter. I looked a long time and spent some serious coin to get this truck. It's not gonna see the salt.

nice blazer.
can you post some more pics of it?

Yup. order pizza and get beer. get 2 or 3 friends over to put the hard top back on.. "oh hey while you guys are over you can help me with this tranny or engine swap also!"

1st Gen's Rock! :saweet:

Thanks, Ryan.
Sorry, but I really don't have any more pics than that.
It took myself and another guy to put the top back on, and my girlfriend was in the "cab" guiding it over the rollbar. It took about two minutes to get it back on and about 1/2 hr to bolt it back down.
I'm probably going to have to take it loose and back again to install some weatherstripping on the windshield posts.
I love this truck. I've had '80s k5's before but having the top off and looking down on the new f350's is great.
