What should I expect, will the 700R4 be a different spline than the 350? I am getting a TCI 350 to put in place of the 700.
Thanks

STOP before you order it .

if not redoing drive shafts you will need a fits all spacer kit and the correct 2wd tail shaft to make it all bolt up and keep the shafts the same length .

if not then go for it . same 27 spline from th350 to 700r4 .

So it is shorter, correct? I need a slightly longer shaft due to lift etc. anyways. I had planned on taking a pick up shaft and cutting it down.

front will be shorter and rear longer . around 1.75" shorter th350 over 700r4

Got it, it is a toss up, I bought a 465 and transfer case or T350. I rather not replace the 700 and have similar problems a year from now.

I would just get a crate tranny from places like bowtie overdrives . lots of guys here have used them in the past .

keep the 700r4 and have the deep first and also OVERDRIVE with todays fuel prices and highway trips .

my buddy recently did a sm465 to nv4500 swap .

he has 4.56 gears / 38x12.50 / 465 he was doing 3200-3300 around 70mph .

now he has droped almost 750 - 800 rpm and LOVES it on the highway rips to play areas around here.

when I redo my k30 plow truck body next year I have a fresh in the shipping crate a 4l80-e for it and the factory 205 adaptor for the 4l80-e :D . bye bye th400 non overdrive .

I just sent them a email for a 700R4. Thanks for the idea.
