Q Jet Questions

1) I believe that the Q jet only came in two sizes is this correct?

2) How do I identify what size I have?

3) Would a Q jet that was on a 305 likely be a 'bolt on' deal for my 350 (ie jets)

4) If I don't get the answers I need here is there an online bible out there somewhere?

Stock for stock it would be close enough putting a 305 carb on a 350 . I have a larger carb than I need on my 305 , and with the small primaries I get great mileage

Might not want to put a 305 Qjet on a 350. Some PO stuck a 400 Qjet on my 454 and it's giving me fits.

I probably have more Q-jets laying around my garage than you have links

I have divorced choke , hot air choke , electric choke , computer controlled . I almost have as many as I have 1/2 ton shafts

I experimented a little on my original carb , but ended up paying the premium for a good rebuild from a reputable shop . That one runs as good as my original one that needs throttle shafts did
