QJET GURU needed. HELP!!! More info.

First off, how would I do that? Also, that seems to be the exact opposite answer of what the spark plugs are telling me. My plugs are black therefore rich, and I get black smoke out of the exhaust. Also, this is happening without the secondarys open. I have manually controlled the throttle linkage, and the secondarys arn't open. All I have to do is try and give it gas in anything other then a very slow fashion and it will fall on its face or totally die. I appreciate the help.

As for this problem when it is cold only, I can say no. It will happen with the motor warm or cold.

Also I have an idea in my head that I was wondering if it was right:

The plugs tell me the motor is very rich. And my truck seems to run and start better if I have the timing very high (16*+ BTDC). So this means that the plugs are more able to fire because the cylinder is not under as much compression as at normal time. (8* BTDC) So when I step on the gas from idle fast it is supplying more gas (to an already very rich environment) causing the plugs not to be able to fire (therefore stubbling BAD). So when I step on the gas light it is supplying less gas, and allowing the timing to come in more gradual so it seems to run ok (other then being rich).

Is this idea correct? Thanks everyone

Ok, this seems to be something that is more timing related now that I have messed with it further. I advanced the motor quite a bit this morning and it is seeming to run semi-ok now. I am going to put more timing in tomorrow and see what it will do. I have no idea why that changing the fuel pump would affect the timing. I am still trying to figure everything out. I will keep you updated.

THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR INPUT AND HELP!!!
