Well... my dad has an 03' quad cab s10 with almost 200k miles on it. It's been a beast but he's looking for just another commuter car, and to keep this one for work around the house and up north. We were thinking of basically putting his box and interior onto a shortened single cab frame sometime in the future. And then maybe a 383 and 700r4 to round things out.. (ok just dreamin now:haha:)

But really, have you ever heard of anyone doing such a thing? I know my dad has one of very few quad cab s10s in our area of Michigan, they didn't make many of them at all.

Heres my Before and After photoshopped rendition of what we would want it too look like when it's done :D:

I don't get it. I would just swap in a 4-linked straight axle under the front and bob the tail.:saweet:

OK, so don't bob the tail, that way you could still fit, what, a sack of groceries in the back. That's about how much room they have isn't it?:D

haha ya it's about the shortest bed I've ever seen in a pickup! but we can fit 2 honda 125's in there with the tailgate down, and alot of other stuff. It's enough for the usual haul... basically, it's an s10 blazer with a place to put really dirty and big things :waytogo:

why would you do that just to end up with a single cab? or am i missing something?

btw, if you want short WB, 2 door blazers are 100.5"
