This isn't really supposed to be a 2 shock vs 4 shock debate. I know most everyone says just run two shocks on the front, but I was wondering why GM offered the quad shock option. What is the difference in the valving on the extra shock? As near as I can tell, Bilstein uses the same shock for the primary shock.

AFAIK, the extra shock reduces heat buildup and shock fade, so you get good dampening where a single shock wouldn't continue to do it's job. or GM engineers thought they looked cool haha:D
