I have a 86,burb ,350ci goodwrench motor brand new 300 miles, the secondaries aren't opening,and i think the choke is sticking any help? /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

if the choke is stuck it will not allow your secondaries to open. what model qjet are you running? (electric, hot air, thermstat, or manual choke?)

would that apply to a carter afb???i have two q jet to use if i need them. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gifto /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

Are you driving and getting on it and not hearing them , or revving it with the air cleaner off ? Mine you can hardly hear with the big air cleaner . This design carb only opens the secondaries as its needed on engine demand .

Anyways , make sure you have 12 volts at the choke wire when ignition is on . Obviously look for any binding or bent linkage rods . Has anyone touched anything thinking it would help , like the adjustment for how much air will force them open ? /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif
