Quality air hammer

This one is intense. It takes a half inch shank. I'm having trouble finding a spring and chisels cause I dont even know what to call it. I have a blunt hammer head bit only but I'd love to complete it. I can tell its substantial compared to my smaller gun that's silver eagle se906 which has been suitable for years.

my BEST deal ever.... about 20 yrs ago on eghey.... POS junk air hammer with a sport bag FULL of Snappy air hammer bits.... like 40 to 50..... they run $25 to 40 each... obviously a bit over-priced, but whoever makes em for Snappy, they are about as stout as you can get.... i have 4 or 5 of EVERY style bit you can think of from muffler cutters, sheetmetals rippers to bushing drivers..... a full side drawer...

$53 to my door.....

You have chisel recommendation @6872xtc? I wasn't finding encouraging results when I last searched.
Well I don't know any other brand at the moment as I have had good success and prices from my Matco dealer for over 7 years. The Snap-on guy wouldn't deal on things and the Matco guy would deal and work to make sales.
I would look for a reputable US made brand. My Matco ones are and I would bet that Snap-on and Ingersoll are as well.

I can’t help you with the sets/chisels, but you don’t need a spring. Get a length of bungee and wrap one end around the air line QD, zip tie in place. Make loop in the other end near the barrel to hold the set. No one I know who uses them driving rivets all day for a living uses the spring.

we used that set up for years at work. the safety nazis came in and put a stop to that. funny thing, you shoot enough rivets you'll be able to tell they're done by the sound.
