I used my KD/Gearwrench setup for the first time for more than just a flare or two making a few new lines for the truck. Half way through I had a stripped wing nut on the clamp and by the end the press/driver wasnt spinning freely anymore...

It seems the clamp is the same POS as any cheapy you buy. Im kinda pissed. thought this Gearwrench set would be a decent quality, at least better than the harbor freight **** I had.

So who out there makes a good quality set? This is clearly a tool ive found that chinese junk wont cut it.

PM Chris Perry, he had a really nice set at Blazer Bash. Not sure of the brand but ktmoutfront used it to fix a cracked line. Everyone that saw it in use was impressed.

This reminded me that I need to find one. That thing was trick. Only issue was, it would not do the 37(?) degree AN flairs. All of my brake lines axcept at the master cylinder are those.

This one is pricy, but it seems to work.

This is the place that sells the copper based alloy brake lines that are DOT approved, and will not rust.
Easy to work with, almost impossible to kink, and flares very well.
