I know there are places that make replacement material for seats (pull old off and put new over foam type). But who makes GOOD ones or is it cheaper to have an upolstery shop make them. Mine are just starting to rip, and i may want a color change anyway. I've seen them in jc whitney before but figured they were crap from there:dunno:

I don't know, man. It must be labor intensive because the quotes I get are like $300 per seat. Have you ever found stock-looking covers to hog-ring on yourself? If you're patient you can usually find a set of decent stock seats somewhere.

My buddy craig (priceygmc) just bought a really nice seat cover from cabellas, some company throught them, and it looks pretty sweet, and doesnt look like any regular seat cover.

I will ask tomorrow the brand if you want.

I'm hoping for a stock look if possible. with real and sturdy material. i have the arm rests that need covered too.

LMC has some stuff but dont look quite like my seats:dunno: I may just do replacements in front for the price its looking like it'll be and have someone recover the rear to match

DONT GET LMC. That was my 1st try and my god it was crap. They were stupid loose and even started to tear when I was putting on the loose upholstery.
I ended up with CLASSIC PARTS. Was just right and great material, made in USA.

I just had a shop do mine, they match the materials and colour very well.

Before

After

Classis INDUSTRIES (not sure if thats the same as Classic Parts) has some good OEM stuff Rick...fabric, colors, and styles to match OEM.

:thumb: that place even has the arm rests. not a bad price either. Not sure about the front set shape but really what I'm looking for

Posted these guys up before.
Think you want something like this:

They do have K5 as well.

Was going to buy from them but never did. My friend bought the door panel inserts and they looked really good. Think Classic Ind buys their kits from here.

yep:waytogo: them look exactly like the ones from classic industries. their cheaper than classic though by a little bit:D

now the question is, how long will it be before i can spend 600 on the burb again? or do one at a time slowly at an upolstery shop:thinking:

their all in great shape yet exept that one little tear:dunno: but I know how fast those grow. And i may not even need to do the back seat. its almost never used. looks like I'll have to wait and save up:doah: i saved the links though:waytogo: now i know what I wanted. thanks guys
