Anyone have any curent pics or links to this setup in a blazer. I have always wanted to do it and now am at that point to do it. All of the search threads are from before 04 and no pics or links work! Thanks

I looked into that a while ago, some people thought it would be hard to get stiff enough springs to hold up the weight of a k5, but people have done it with success. Here are some links I dug up real quick, it used to be a popular topic around here

Here's what I'm think'in. I want to move to the next step with my blazer mainly the rear half. I have always loved the 1/4 elliptical setup. I like the truggy look to. I just don't know. I don't have alot of money to spend (who does) on this thing, but I am willing:doah:. What are some of ya'lls thoughts!

The 4 link part of a 1/4 elliptic is not cheap. If you go cheap you will be replacing it all in short order (replacing joints at least once a year, bent links, etc.).

I think mine will be on the order of ~$1K with brackets, truss, spring clamps, shackles, boxing the frame around the suspension mounts, tubing for links, 8 joints, bumpstops, etc.

The only thing cheap about 1/4 elliptic is the springs. I like the fact that the springs are cheap and easy to tune which is why I'm going to a 1/4 elliptic.
