Quarter panel / Gas door question

I have a '77 Blazer that has the round hole for the gas cap, I am ordering new quarter panels and want to change to the gas door style quarter panel. They started in '79 , I think all I have to do is get a gas door and new filler tube does any body know if I am right? Anybody done this? Thanks

I figured you might know. Thanks I keep knocking off my gas cap when wheeling, hopefully with a gas door a I will just dent it and not loose the cap.
