I know this prolly oughta be in the lounge but...

Anybody remember Queensryche?

I had them at my Chef's Table tonight. Carring out the skull B-day cake with all the lights out and Sillent Lucidity blaring over the built in speakers in the kitchen was priceless. Kind of a personal wow. They blew them out, big silence and then "or has it just begun?" how you gonna beat that... priceless!

gen 1 seemed like a better place to post... Go ahead and beatthat Greg...

Operation Mindcrime is by far their masterpiece.. I could live without the rest of their library, but Mindcrime is prolly a top 10, all-time album for me...

I was amazed when I met Bon Jovi and Sambora last summer at the marina how tiny they where.. Freakin guys where prolly 125 lbs soaking wet!

I remember Queensryche....

I was their roadie.

PWned! :haha: j/k

I liked that song also when it came out. A lot of people called them "QueensFloyd" when that song was popular....it's very reminiscent of "Comfortably Numb" at least to me.

:usaflag:

I'm a huge Dream Theater fan, and Queensryche toured with them forever. I saw the show twice. 2 excellent bands for the price of one. Oh i love ryche also.

I went through two cassettes of operation mindcrime before getting it on CD. One of my all time favorite albums. Empire wasn't a bad follow up...in fact I'd say without having to follow Operation Mindcrime you could call it a damn decent album.

Cool that you got to meet them!!!:bow:

I remember those sell-outs!!!! There last album was Mindcrime right???
I've seen them several times, 91' being the last time, Mindcrime Tour.

They remind me of Metallica...hard core then went to soft rock. :doah:

I went to a show back in 2005 in Vegas - had a great time.

Been listening to them for a long time.
